- It was found that an altered dihydrofolate can not be adduced wild type thy+ and thy- extracts were examined. It was found that that the Km values for both their dihydrofolate-reductase activity was nearly the same (figure 1) as where the effects of KCl, CaCl2 and other organic mercurials (Table 1)
